Christy Larson

Born and raised inJacksonville, Christy was originally a guest at California Trends Day Spa & Salon. She was impressed with the experience and expressed an interest in joining the team, and just over 3 years ago she did just that. She joined the California Trends family as a receptionist and quickly found her niche in superior customer service. Christy is now our Guest Reception Manager and her first priority is to ‘make sure every guest enjoys their visit and experience at California Trends as much as I did’.

Christy balances her many job responsibilities with being a single parent to Hailey and Jake and spends most of her free time cheering them on at the ballparks as they excel in softball and football.
Her goal is to ensure every guest has lasting memories of receiving the absolute best experience during their visit to California Trends Day Spa & Salon.

Meredith Marchant

Meredith started her journey in hair design 3 years ago and knows she has chosen THE perfect career for her. She graduated top of her class atRiversideHairStylingAcademyand takes as many opportunities as possible to further her education.
With fresh ideas and new techniques, Meredith is always up for a challenge. ‘I’ve always had a passion for making people feel and look their best’. And we are thrilled that Meredith is kick-starting her career at California Trends.

After graduating cosmetology school inRhode Islandin 1993 Jenna relocated toJacksonville. Here, she continued to learn from working with other stylists and mentors.

Jenna continues to have a passion for helping people feel good and is even pursuing a degree in Medical Assisting in her free time.

‘I love all aspects of haircolor whether it be for everyday wear or more avante garde styles.’

Mindy Boyd

Born and raised inJacksonville, Mindy first pursued a career in early childhood education before realizing that her true passion was the beauty industry. After graduating from Riverside HairStyling Academy 8 years ago, Mindy attended advanced education at both the Aveda Institute and with Bumble and Bumble before joing the team at California Trends Day Spa and Salon 4 years ago.
Mindy excels in Wedding and Special Event Styling and is exceptionally talented with hair color. Recently, Mindy was promoted to Design Team Leader and is extremely excited to share her passion with you, the guest, as well as mentoring the California Trends Design Team.
